Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy in children during their most formative years. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes child development and fosters a love of learning. Your dedication will help shape the foundation for lifelong success while supporting families and collaborating with fellow educators. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and hands-on activities to stimulate child development. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective classroom management practices to maintain a safe and productive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships to support each child's growth. Conduct assessments aligned with childhood development standards and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and special education accommodations to support diverse learning needs. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, physical education, math concepts, and Montessori or other specialized teaching methods. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional qualifications in special education or early intervention are advantageous. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure a safe environment for all children. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that promote social-emotional growth alongside academic skills.
Schedule:

Pay:
$30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
