Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any suspected neglect or abuse promptly. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, demonstrating quick response skills in emergency situations. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education standards. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Familiarity with special education principles and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and adhere to childcare licensing regulations. Passion for early childhood education combined with patience, creativity, and a caring attitude.
