Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Your expertise will support the developmental milestones of young children, fostering their growth through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective communication with parents. Duties Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood development principles, including sensory exploration, motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth. Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, adjusting activities to meet individual needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and safety. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support inclusive education for children with diverse needs or disabilities. Skills Proven experience working with infants in daycare or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices. Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR; knowledge of first aid procedures specific to infants. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs, including implementing individualized care plans. Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social interactions among young children. Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Ability to supervise children actively while maintaining a warm, caring demeanor. Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare center standards, and early childhood curriculum development. Skills in behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers to promote healthy emotional development.
