Job Description

Responsibilities Nurture children as they grow their independence Fill in, where needed, on a daily basis Clean bathrooms, hallways, and other facility areas Substitute teach during teacher illness or vacation Change diapers Implement an engaging curriculum suitable for preschool children Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve conflict Guide children to engage and explore their curiosities and develop their artistic and practical capabilities Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Communicate with parents regularly Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Maintain professional development hours as required by state and local authority. Skills Understanding of the principles of child development Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Commitment to timely and accurate reporting Excellent communication and instructional skills Ability to solve conflict Friendly and reliable Creative, quick-thinking, and practical A love for children and helping them succeed!
