Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Daycare Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this vital role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across various classrooms and age groups, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. As a Daycare Floater, you will support classroom teachers, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a positive atmosphere that promotes growth and development. Your energetic approach and dedication will help create a joyful learning space where every child feels valued and supported. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times. Support classroom teachers with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and activity setup. Engage children in educational activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and curiosity. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and materials regularly. Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children. Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute age-appropriate curriculum activities aligned with early childhood education standards. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Classroom experience in early childhood settings or preschool environments is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in behavior management or special education is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Pay:
$21.63 - $26.05 per hour
