In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment aligned with Montessori principles, supporting children's developmental milestones across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help children develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning from an early age. Duties Implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for each child's unique learning style Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor individual student growth and tailor instruction accordingly Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, child welfare practices, and early intervention strategies Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student development and incidents Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; Montessori classroom experience is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and social-emotional skills to young children Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or early childhood education are advantageous Proven ability to create a safe, inclusive environment that supports child welfare and nurtures each child's potential

$1,055.00 - $1,155.00 per month
