$18 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Infant Teacher The Learning Experience - River Vale is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to support children during their earliest stages of development. This role focuses on creating a nurturing classroom environment where infants feel safe, supported, and engaged through responsive caregiving, sensory exploration, and consistent daily routines. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy building strong relationships with families while helping infants reach important developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities Support daily classroom routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision Implement age-appropriate sensory learning activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Observe and support developmental milestones and early communication skills Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and daily progress Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies Qualifications High school diploma required Prior childcare experience preferred Experience working with infants a plus Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $18 per hour Consistent weekday schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Professional development opportunities Employee childcare discount
