Responsibilities Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment. Plan and participate in age-appropriate, play-based activities. Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. Engage children through art, music, sensory play, stories, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning. Observe and document children's development and progress. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom. Build positive relationships with children and families. Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day and development. Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leadership. Follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements. Qualifications Genuine love for working with young children. Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred. CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus. Dependable, patient, energetic, and nurturing. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to complete required training and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
