As a vital team member, you will assist lead teachers and caregivers in delivering exceptional care and early childhood instruction, fostering positive developmental experiences for every child. Duties Support multiple classrooms by assisting with child supervision, activities, and daily routines across different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Help implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early education principles Maintain a safe environment by adhering to child supervision standards and safety protocols such as pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns to foster strong relationships and trust Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Support Lead teachers with classroom setup, cleaning, and organization to ensure a welcoming learning environment Follow mandated reporting laws and document incidents or concerns accurately and promptly Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, childhood development milestones, and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; pediatric first aid training is advantageous Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Strong communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education environments will support success in this role Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds!
