Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to three-year-olds, incorporating early literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and support individual child development needs. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's progress, behavior, and milestones. Support children's emotional well-being by applying effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Ensure safety by adhering to all mandated reporting laws, health protocols, and first aid/CPR guidelines. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom activities, and assessments to promote continuous improvement in teaching practices. Skills Extensive experience working with young children in preschool or toddler care settings. Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to three-year-olds. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities that promote literacy education and math skills. Skilled in behavior management techniques suitable for preschool-aged children. Experience with classroom management strategies to maintain an organized, positive learning environment. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to foster a supportive community. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are preferred. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners is advantageous. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus. Pay:
$17.55 - $19.55 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
