Job Description

Substitute Care Provider Position Starts Immediately after meeting requirements.
Schedule:
must have flexible availability between the hours of Mon -Fri 7 am -6 pm (4-8 hour shift depend on center need) Must be available on call to cover for staff absence; must be available to cover vacations.
Compensation:
$20/ hour Requirements 18 years/older HS Diploma 1 year experience caring for children Perfect position for college students Must complete the following trainings upon start date: CPR and First Aid Certificate 5 hour health and safety e-learning course Mandated Reporter Medication Administration Training - funding available Responsibilities Help maintain a clean, fun and safe learning environment (see center workflow) Communicate and meet with families about children's development Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff members, students, families and visitors Engage students in hands on activities (indoors and outdoors) Model family style practices during meal times Implement routines that promote physical activity, rest, playtime, and healthy life practices Supervise and mentor volunteers, and camp employees during summer months
