Job Description

Little Tulip Daycare Center is looking for qualified part time Daycare Assistant for our daycare center. A Daycare Assistant will demonstrate skills such as instructing, assisting and caring for young children. Assistants should be able to think creatively, make good decisions and communicate effectively with others. They should also be skilled at taking direction and working as part of a team. Job Schedule Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3 pm Responsibilities for
Assistant Teacher:
Supervises the children with colleague at all times. Cover classrooms during teacher's break time Assists with meals, diapering, toileting, hand washing etc. Performs general housekeeping tasks, clean classroom and toys. Performs other duties necessary Qualifications At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED or higher Two years of experience working with young children Provide names and contact information for three references Reliable and punctual Meet annual professional development requirements, per NYC DOH regulations
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
