Job Description
Experienced Dental Assistant — Queens, NY We are a super dental and dental sleep apnea practice in Queens with a fabulous team that works together every day to make our practice the best it can be. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment. We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, and genuinely caring Dental Assistant to join our team. The Ideal Candidate You MUST have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience to be considered. We are looking for someone with significant experience who can step into the position and get to work with very little training.
You should be:
Friendly, outgoing, and a true "people person" Warm, compassionate, and able to make patients feel comfortable An excellent communicator with outstanding customer service skills A dependable and enthusiastic team player Able to work independently and stay productive Comfortable interacting with patients from the moment they enter the office until they leave Experience with dental sleep apnea appliances/devices is a major plus! Foreign-trained dentists are welcome to apply. Position Monday-Thursday Optional Fridays may be available 30-40 hours per week Must have your own car to get to work, as public transportation to our location can be unreliable Responsibilities Dental assisting Assisting with dental sleep apnea patients and appliances Preparing treatment rooms and assisting during procedures Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment Ordering and organizing dental supplies Helping at the front desk when needed Providing exceptional patient service Working closely with the entire team to keep the office running smoothly Technology We use: DEXIS for digital X-rays TRIOS for digital scanning Experience with these systems is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
