Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love of learning. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective communication with parents. The Daycare Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills of children from infancy through preschool age, ensuring their well-being and educational growth. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Follow all mandated reporting laws and safety protocols to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and keep accurate health records for each child. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care. Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans that meet developmental standards. Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions among children. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child supervision best practices is required. Previous classroom experience in daycare center settings or babysitting for young children will be advantageous. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members to support children's growth and well-being. Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
