In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing developmental activities, ensuring child safety, and fostering positive interactions. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns about their child's well-being Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Help with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers as needed Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions among children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is strongly preferred; ongoing training is encouraged Willingness to submit a complete background check is required Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior guidance strategies Bilingual/ Ability to speak multiple languages, while not required, is a plus Join us as a Daycare Assistant to help shape young minds in a dynamic environment where your dedication fuels growth and discovery.
