Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and activities to ensure safety and proper behavior management Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum plans focused on childhood development Support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and hygiene practices in accordance with health standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to build trust and foster strong relationships Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning engagement Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns promptly and appropriately Assist with classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training (if not already certified we will help you get certified before joining) Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Experience in infant care, toddler care, or preschool teaching enhances your ability to support diverse age groups effectively Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore their world!
