Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and education, with a focus on providing quality learning experiences for young students.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Center Director, Assistant Director, Lead and Assistant teachers
- Works collaboratively with either Lead or Assistant teachers in fulfilling necessary classroom duties
- Controls behaviors and reports necessary incidents to Lead or Assistant teacher
- Participates in on-going training and staff meetings
- When necessary, helps Lead and/or Assistant teachers with daily classroom cleaning tasks
- Maintains an appropriate level of professionalism with both parents and other staff members
- Upholds the standards of the ethical and professional duties as outlined in the employee handbooks
- Participates and engages with children in the classroom
- Communicates with Lead and Assistant teachers daily to establish positive and professional working relationships
Experience Required Skills:
- Strong background in early childhood education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings
