Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions About the Role Our daycare center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated professional to join our team in the toddler program or the preschool program. In this role, you will partner closely with a Lead Teacher to co-create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for our littlest learners. Key Responsibilities Compassionate Caregiving:
Provide attentive, responsive, and loving care to babies and young toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
Developmental Engagement:
Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities (sensory play, storytime, music, and motor-skill games) to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Routine & Consistency:
Maintain and follow daily schedules—including playtime, meals, and nap times—to provide the predictable, secure environment toddlers and all children thrive in.
Supervision & Safety:
Actively monitor and supervise children at all times to ensure absolute safety during all indoor and outdoor activities.
Team Collaboration:
Partner effectively with the Lead Teacher and center staff to plan, brainstorm, and implement engaging educational and recreational activities.
Classroom Upkeep:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy environment for children and staff.
Qualifications:
We Are Looking For Proven experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool children in a licensed childcare or daycare setting. A warm, patient, and energetic personality with a genuine love for early childhood education. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with parents. Ability to meet physical demands of the role (lifting toddlers, bending, sitting on the floor). CDA credential or an
Associate's Degree:
• Candidates already holding one of these certifcations will receive the higher end of the pay scale with added benefits. We will work with anyone Willing to enroll in a CDA program. Active CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!
