Toddler Teacher (NWO Montessori Preschool) NWO Montessori School is seeking a reliable, professional, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. If you enjoy working with young children, are eager to learn the Montessori philosophy, and value consistency in the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.

Bowling Green, OH Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:15 AM-4:00
PM Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Pay is based on experience Position Overview The Toddler Teacher runs the classroom while providing a safe, structured, and engaging Montessori learning environment for children ages 18 months to 3 years . This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering children's independence while following established classroom routines and Montessori practices. A minimum 1 school year commitment is required to ensure consistency and continuity for the children. Responsibilities Lead and maintain a positive, organized, and nurturing classroom environment. Receive guidance and training on how to follow Montessori guidelines and practices. Guide children toward appropriate activities while encouraging independence and self-confidence. Follow the Montessori approach and classroom procedures establishing the tone of a good working environment for the toddler room staff. Change diapers and pull-ups while maintaining proper hygiene and safety standards. Support children's daily routines with patience, consistency, and professionalism. Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful learning environment. Wear professional attire appropriate for working with young children. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age . High school diploma or GED required. Passion for working with young children. Willingness to learn and implement the Montessori philosophy. Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to different classroom settings. Able to give direction to establish classroom expectations for toddler room staff. Comfortable setting kind, consistent boundaries and encouraging children to develop independence. Required Before Employment The following must be completed before your first scheduled day of work: First Aid certification CPR certification Child Abuse Recognition training Communicable Disease training Successful completion of required FBI and BCI background checks If you are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where children can grow and become independent, we encourage you to apply.
