Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Kiddie Academy of Marysville is opening a new academy and is seeking a kind and nurturing teacher to love and care for our infants and toddlers. This person will be responsible for providing a stimulating, safe and developmentally appropriate educational environment and will be responsible for the teaching, daily planning, supervision and guidance of the classroom and children. This is a Monday through Friday position, with no evenings and weekends, working 9 am to 6 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom are appropriately maintained and follows cleaning and sanitizing guidelines. Completes all academy and classroom paperwork: for example, daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports. Prepares/implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule. Develops, plans, and prepares instructional aids/materials for classroom activities. Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children. Maintains family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet state requirements for position, 18 years and older and High School or Equivalent graduate. Candidate must have required immunizations/TB Screening and and have a clear background check to qualify for employment. Childcare and teaching experience preferred.
