In this early childhood role, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom, implement age-appropriate curriculum, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will communicate regularly with families, document developmental progress, and maintain licensing and safety standards. Collaborating with coworkers and participating in ongoing training, you'll help build an inclusive, engaging environment that reflects KinderCare's commitment to high-quality early education and staff development. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment for young children Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom events Maintain compliance with state licensing and Kinder Care policies Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership Participate in professional development and ongoing training Promote an inclusive, diverse, and supportive learning environment Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Lesson planning and documentation Family communication Child safety and supervision Behavior guidance techniques Observation and assessment of children Regulatory and licensing compliance Basic computer and record-keeping skills
