Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, physical activity, and social skills etc Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive, respectful environment conducive to learning and exploration. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, academic interventions, and implementing Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for diverse learners. Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management strategies while fostering a nurturing atmosphere. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and safety standards while documenting student progress through detailed reports and records. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, Montessori methods, literacy education, and physical education for young children. Communicate regularly with families about their child's development using writing skills that clearly convey progress and areas for growth. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and preschool curriculum development. Ability to design instructional activities that incorporate educational technology and innovative learning strategies. Skilled in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among young learners. Familiarity with special education practices, including working with students who have disabilities or require academic interventions. Expertise in analyzing student performance data to evaluate progress and inform instructional adjustments effectively. Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to early childhood settings. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
