Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored specifically for toddlers. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports toddler care, behavior management, and positive social interactions. Engage children in activities that enhance their motor skills, language development, and cognitive growth while ensuring safety at all times. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting developmental progress and any incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with childcare regulations. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and implementing best practices in early childhood education. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and experience applying them through curriculum development and classroom instruction. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques is highly desirable. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members using strong interpersonal skills. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in child welfare laws and standardized testing methods is a plus. Experience teaching physical education or integrating movement into lessons is advantageous. Classroom experience involving preschool or toddler care will support success in this role.
