Daycare Assistant - Pediatric Medical Daycare A Place To Grow, LLC | Upper Chichester, PA A Place To Grow is seeking a Daycare Assistant with daycare or early childhood experience who is comfortable caring for children with complex medical needs. Our children need attentive, patient caregivers who can support their daily routines in a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Supervise children and lead age-appropriate play and learning activities. Assist with feeding, diaper changes, toileting, and other daily care. Lift, carry, and help transfer children as required for their care, using safe techniques and available assistance. Follow each child's care instructions and promptly report changes or concerns to the nurse. Keep playareas, toys, and care areas clean and organized. Work closely with nurses and other staff to support each child's needs. Qualifications Previous daycare, preschool, or early childhood care experience required. Comfortable working with children who have significant medical or developmental needs. Able to provide hands-on care, including diaper changes and lifting children. Dependable, compassionate, and able to communicate clearly with families and coworkers. Willing to complete required training and background checks. Experience in a pediatric medical daycare or with children with special healthcare needs is a plus. Medical training is not required; nursing care is provided and directed by our licensed nurses.
