As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote positive behavior, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child's growth. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, curriculum enhancements, and classroom management techniques to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching practices. Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, behavior management plans, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and licensing requirements while fostering a positive classroom culture rooted in Montessori or other child-centered philosophies. Skills Extensive experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or toddler care with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student progress. Knowledge of literacy education, math instruction for young children, physical education activities, and library services tailored for preschoolers. Ability to design instructional activities that incorporate instructional design techniques and educational technology tools effectively. Skilled in classroom management, conflict resolution, behavior management strategies, and implementing positive reinforcement techniques. Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs; familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is preferred. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners; capable of writing clear reports and educational documentation. Understanding of educational compliance standards related to private schools or early childhood programs; knowledge of Montessori or other specialized pedagogies is advantageous.
