Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for each child. Manage classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and play activities, maintaining a structured yet flexible environment. Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate child development principles and meet educational standards. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of child welfare concerns or abuse promptly. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Knowledge of child development stages specific to infants and toddlers. Training or background in special education or early intervention is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills combined with effective communication abilities. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Background clearances are a must Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies for young children. Ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and community partners to support child welfare. Pay:
