Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment for children in the toddler age group. As a key leader in our early childhood education team, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, promote positive behavior, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Your role is vital in creating a safe, stimulating space where toddlers can explore, learn, and thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence early childhood development while working collaboratively with families and staff to ensure each child's success. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and early intervention strategies. Lead classroom activities that promote child welfare, social skills, motor development, and foundational math concepts using child-centered teaching methods. Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, organized environment that encourages independence and curiosity among toddlers. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of classroom management and childcare quality. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations through proper documentation of incidents and routine safety checks. Qualifications Proven experience working with toddlers in early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, and physical education for toddlers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and colleagues. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
