We are looking for a part time afternoon infant teacher. Monday-Friday 3-6.

Infant Teacher Job Summary:

The Infant Teacher will be responsible for maintaining the day to day classroom operations while adhering to the company's mission of providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children to grow, develop, and shine. The successful candidate will be energetic, organized, a problem solver, and possess great communication skills. This individual needs to be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of our next generation.

The day to day responsibilities:

This position is responsible for all curriculum implementation, classroom and center activities, assistant teacher training (if applicable), record keeping, and overall student care.

They will ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment is maintained at all times for their students.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must undergo a background check Child Care experience preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to easily build rapport with students, families and fellow team members Friendly, positive, and approachable demeanor Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times Have a thorough understanding of child care center operations

Physical Requirements:

Able to frequently lift or move an average weight as in lifting, carrying, and holding children (10-40 pounds) Occasional heavy weights (over 40 pounds) Able to interact with children, teachers, and parents on the playground or in the classroom Able to stoop and bend to interact on a child's level This is a part time position. Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience and skill set. Will report to the Assistant Director and Director of the center.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
