Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of Preschool 3's students, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where appropriate. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional growth. Deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in young children. Assess each child's progress regularly through observations, standardized testing when applicable, and documentation to inform instruction and support early intervention strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions and consistent routines that support childhood development. Incorporate special education strategies when needed to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare standards and private school policies. Requirements Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in classroom settings or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques. Experience with curriculum development across literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; Montessori certification is a plus. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing procedures when necessary and adapt instruction based on assessment outcomes.
