Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Floater, you will be a flexible team player who steps in wherever needed to promote child development, safety, and positive classroom experiences.

Available Schedule:

1pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm Responsibilities Assist in supervising and engaging children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety and well-being. Support lead teachers by implementing lesson plans focused on early childhood development and child-centered instruction. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships. Support behavior management strategies that encourage positive social interactions among children. Adapt quickly to different classroom needs and assist with special education accommodations or individualized instruction when required. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is desirable; ongoing training is encouraged. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations is essential. Previous nannying or babysitting experience working directly with infants or toddlers enhances candidacy. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a nurturing manner.
