The Kindergarten Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic foundation of our youngest learners. We are looking for someone who leads with both competence and care—bringing energy, organization, and intentionality into every aspect of the classroom. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and foundational academic skills Create a classroom environment that emphasizes positive reinforcement, encouragement, and student growth Integrate faith-based principles and biblical worldview into daily instruction and interactions Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents, providing updates on student progress, behavior, and classroom activities Collaborate closely with an Assistant Teacher to ensure smooth classroom operations and individualized student support Develop and implement age-appropriate assessments to monitor student learning and development Maintain a well-organized, structured classroom with attention to detail in planning, materials, and routines Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where each child feels known, valued, and supported Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required) Valid state teaching certification (required) Prior experience teaching early childhood or elementary students (preferred) Demonstrated commitment to using positive reinforcement and developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively A genuine love for children and a passion for early childhood education Willingness to actively support and model the school's Christian mission and values
