Duties Provide flexible support by assisting in various preschool classrooms to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent child supervision. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Support classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and respectful interactions among children. Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care duties for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and developmental milestones. Skills Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid training preferred. Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a flexible team player.
