Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. You will play a crucial role in fostering their growth, learning, and social skills through engaging activities and positive interactions. Duties Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the daycare setting. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Ensure a safe and clean environment for all children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime. Foster social skills through group activities and cooperative play. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and developmental milestones. Qualifications Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Ability to educate children through engaging activities tailored to their developmental stages. Experience in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs. Familiarity with toddler care practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with the ability to build trusting relationships with children.
