Were seeking a loving, nurturing, dependable, and experienced Infant Teacher who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and understands the importance of creating a safe, responsive, and engaging infant classroom. This position will work with infants ages 6 weeks through 17 months , with responsibility for caring for a minimum of 4 infants up to 5 infants in the classroom. We are looking for someone who understands that infant care is more than feeding and diapering. Our Infant Teacher should be attentive, affectionate, patient, organized, and intentional about supporting each child's development. Schedule Availability Applicants must have availability Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and literacy education, ensuring activities align with individual needs and interests. Organize classroom activities that stimulate creativity, curiosity, and learning, including sensory play, storytelling, music, and movement exercises. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, creating a safe and respectful environment for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to adapt instructional strategies for children with disabilities or developmental delays, including those with autism or other special needs. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments related to childhood development milestones and individualized education plans (IEPs). Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and empathetic manner. Ensure the classroom is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials such as Montessori tools or creative writing supplies to support ongoing learning activities. Provide nurturing and attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks-17 months Safely supervise up to 5 infants Follow individual feeding, bottle, diapering, and sleeping schedules Maintain accurate daily infant records Create a warm, loving, and responsive classroom environment Engage infants through age-appropriate songs, reading, sensory activities, tummy time, movement, and developmental play Follow classroom lesson plans and daily schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized infant classroom Communicate professionally with parents and leadership Follow all childcare licensing, health, safety, and safe-sleep requirements Work cooperatively with other teachers and center leadership Requirements Proven experience working with infants or young children in early childhood education settings; private school experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, including working with children with disabilities or developmental disabilities such as autism. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual learning styles and developmental needs through instructional adaptability. Background in literacy education, creative writing techniques, or Montessori methods is desirable. Demonstrated ability to organize classroom activities that foster social-emotional growth while maintaining a safe environment for all learners.
