Montessori Primary Assistant Teacher Montessori of University Village - Round Rock, TX Are you passionate about working with young children in a nurturing, respectful, and child-centered environment? Montessori of University Village is seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Primary Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team! As a Primary Assistant, you will work alongside an experienced Montessori Guide to support children ages 3-6 years in a beautiful prepared environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Responsibilities Support the Lead Montessori Guide in maintaining a peaceful and engaging classroom. Assist children with daily routines while encouraging independence. Prepare and maintain classroom materials and the learning environment. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. Follow all state licensing and school policies. Qualifications Experience working with children ages 3-6 preferred. Montessori experience is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Passion for early childhood education and child development. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, positive, and professional attitude. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
