Job Description Bel Canto Montessori is seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Teachers to join our founding team. At Bel Canto Montessori, children explore the world through authentic Montessori learning, daily music experiences, cultural discovery, and meaningful connections. We are building a school where curiosity is encouraged, independence is celebrated, and every child is respected as a capable learner. We'd love to meet experienced early childhood educators who enjoy working with young children, are confident leading a classroom, and are committed to creating a warm, respectful learning environment. Montessori experience is a plus, but we also welcome educators who are excited to learn and grow in Montessori practice. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a licensed early childhood setting
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• Montessori experience is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
• Positive, dependable, organized, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with young children
• Willingness to learn and implement Montessori philosophy and classroom practices
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Must meet applicable Texas child care licensing requirements Responsibilities
• Create and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom
• Prepare and maintain an organized Montessori learning environment
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate classroom activities and Montessori experiences
• Observe children and support their individual learning and development
• Encourage children's independence and positive social development
• Establish consistent classroom routines and expectations
• Guide and collaborate with the Assistant Teacher
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
• Build caring relationships with children and families
• Communicate professionally with families regarding their child's classroom experience and development
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership
• Maintain required classroom records and documentation
