Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Assistant Teacher to join our Montessori program. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. As the After Care Teacher, you will maintain classroom management while ensuring that students continue to thrive in their educational journey. Responsibilities Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and productive learning atmosphere. Diligently finish all end-of-day tasks, including tidying the classroom and bathroom. Engage students in meaningful and active play while they wait to go home. Foster an inclusive environment that accommodates students with different learning needs. Communicate effectively with students to enhance understanding and engagement. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance as required. Collaborate with school staff to support curriculum development and classroom management strategies. Experience Proven experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is required. Background in early childhood education or childhood development is highly desirable. Familiarity with teaching methodologies including Montessori and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
