Responsibilities Support classroom activities by supervising children during play, meals, naps, and learning sessions to ensure safety and engagement Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships Help with diapering, feeding, and basic childcare needs for infants and toddlers in accordance with licensing standards Support classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social interactions among children Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns promptly Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training is encouraged Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Understanding of mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety at all times Classroom experience in daycare or early childhood settings is desirable; enthusiasm for working with young learners is essential Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
