We are currently seeking a Young Children's Community Classroom Assistant, in our toddler age classroom. This position works with children ages 15 months - three years in a Montessori environment. M-F, 10:00am - 4:15pm Candidates with STARS certification preferred, but not required. Those with Montessori experience or experience working in early childhood education and an interest in adapting their skills to our Montessori environment encouraged to apply!

Requirements:

Must be willing to complete a Background Record Check Complete all DCYF requirements within 30 days Have an interest in childhood development and the Montessori approach Ability to move/bend in full range of total body mobility Ability to lift 40lbs Comfortable spending 15-45 minutes outside in all kinds of weather Meadows Montessori School is an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Recognized school and a WA State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) licensed childcare facility. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
