The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a childcare setting and will be able to create a safe and fun environment for our young charges. If you are passionate about working with children and have a genuine interest in their care and development, then we would love to hear from you!
Childcare Assistant Duties:
Manage the daily activities of the childcare program, including monitoring children's activities, providing a safe and stimulating environment, and scheduling Monitor children's activities to make sure they are appropriately supervised Ensure children enjoy safe and healthy meals Keep children physically fit through daily exercise Identify and resolve problems that arise Conduct routine training Develop and implement administrative procedures
Childcare Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide childcare and supervision for the preschool age children Prepare meals and snacks, assist with homework, and do other household chores Work with children during the day Remain organized, focused, and proactive in handling the needs of the children and parents Perform needed cleaning duties Educate parents about their children's activities and help them with homework Monitor children's behavior, develop discipline routines, and react appropriately to misbehavior Correct any physical, behavioral, or emotional issues Keep accurate records, including medical history and immunization records Utilize valid and consistent discipline techniques Keep accurate records of all activities, including daily attendance, behavior, and medical information Communicate effectively with parents Provide loving, safe, nurturing, and healthy environment for the children Attend staff meetings and other training
Education Requirements:
