Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the care and development of infants, creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes healthy growth and learning. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will communicate effectively with parents, and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters curiosity and developmental milestones. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all infants in your care Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging exploration, socialization, and emotional security Maintain accurate records of each infant's progress, health updates, and daily routines in Brightwheel Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with all WAC regulations Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom environment that supports early childhood development principles Requirements Strong classroom experience in daycare or daycare center environments with a focus on infant care Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated skills in classroom management, caregiving, and child supervision Passion for early childhood education, nurturing growth through playful learning experiences
