Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer to teach online graduate courses in our School Psychology EdS Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven experience as a school psychologist practicing within diverse K-12 public settings. This position plays a crucial role in training graduate students in the knowledge and competencies needed to become skilled practitioners across various NASP practice model domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging online course content in conjunction with the Director of the School Psychology EdS program Facilitate critical discussions and authentic interactions in an online learning environment to promote student engagement and success Provide mentorship and coaching to graduate students, helping foster core competency development for licensure and exemplary practice Collaborate with the Director of the School Psychology EdS program to enhance the curriculum and ensure alignment with current best practices in school psychology Assess graduate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth Stay current with research and trends in school psychology and education Maintain a 24 hour course load across the 12 month, non-tenure track position
Qualifications:
PhD in School Psychology required Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing in a public school district TN Professional School Services Personnel license preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Innovative and collaborative Experience with online teaching platforms and adult learning principles preferred
