A Psychology Professor teaches foundational psychological ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, psychology professors will perform therapeutic services.

- Two representative publications
- Three letters of recommendation § Note. For ABD applicants, one letter must be from your dissertation director confirming that your dissertation will be successfully defended, and all PhD requirements will be met by August 18, 2027
