Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Pennsylvania Reading Specialist certification is required. Demonstrated expertise in reading instruction and related best practices. Prior experience working in schools, particularly in urban settings. Proficient in developing lesson plans that align with state and district standards. Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills. Comfortable and adaptable working within the district and community. Ability to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances. Reliable transportation for onsite responsibilities. Confident using a variety of resources and strategies to differentiate instruction. Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview process.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, direct reading instruction to K-8 students as part of an elementary caseload. Develop tailored lesson plans driven by assessment data and student needs.
