You will play a vital role in preparing students for high school science courses and standardized assessments while nurturing their scientific inquiry skills and critical thinking abilities. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that cover key earth science concepts such as plate tectonics, weather patterns, the water cycle, and environmental issues. Incorporate learning technology and IT-integrated lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding of complex scientific topics. Utilize laboratory experience and dissection techniques to facilitate hands-on experiments in geology, biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology. Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating an inclusive environment that respects students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and academic advising. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and implementing best practices in science education. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field; advanced degrees or higher education teaching experience preferred.
