Job Description

Company Overview:
We are Champions Martial Arts, a renowned Taekwondo franchise originating from New York, with an established presence of over 80 locations across the state. Currently, we are expanding into California and are in search of a highly motivated Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis at our Chino Hills, CA location. As an Instructor, you will work with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge in Taekwondo. You will also support the Head Instructor and Master in leading classes. A passion for teaching and a love for Taekwondo are what matter most—no prior teaching experience is required, as we provide full training!
Requirements:
Age 18 and over Prior one year of taekwondo teaching experience is mandatory.
APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A MINIMUM OF A SECOND DEGREE BLACK BELT IN TAEKWONDO CERTIFIED BY THE WORLD TAEKWONDO FEDERATION
(KUKKIWON).
BLACK BELTS IN OTHER MARTIAL ARTS OR ITF TAEKWONDO WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Candidates must be available to work all three days during the following hours:
Tuesday & Thursday :
3:00 pm to 8:10pm
Saturday:
12:30pm to 5:10 pm
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons following the curriculum Provide instruction and mentorship in Taekwondo techniques Cultivate an environment that promotes student engagement and success Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback Implement effective behavior management strategies for a safe learning atmosphere Ensure students' safety during all instructional activities Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and achievements
Experience:
Prior one year of taekwondo teaching experience is mandatory. Experience participating in sparring tournaments is advantageous, but not a requirement. Bilingual in English and Korean is advantageous but not mandatory. We offer competitive compensation along with opportunities for long-term professional growth.
