Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Children's Martial Arts Instructor to inspire and motivate young learners through engaging martial arts training. Applicants with aspirations of owning their own school one day or being a martial arts instructor are encouraged to apply! We can mentor you if you are not already a certified instructor. In this role, you will lead classes that promote physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and teamwork among children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive environment where kids can develop essential life skills while having fun. Responsibilities Lead dynamic martial arts classes tailored specifically for children, focusing on skill development, discipline, and safety. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate fundamental martial arts movements and obstacle courses. Ensure a safe training environment by monitoring students' behavior and managing class activities effectively. Provide clear instruction on techniques like blocking, punching, kicking while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship Foster a motivating atmosphere that promotes confidence, respect, and perseverance among young students. Skills Proven experience working with children in a teaching or coaching capacity, especially in martial arts or physical education settings. Strong background in martial arts disciplines such as Karate, Kung Fu, Judo, or kickboxing with relevant certifications preferred. Knowledge of sports coaching techniques/skills Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children and their families. Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation are preferred or we will pay to have you certified.
