Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-recognized) Proven experience working with students in special education settings Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive classroom environments Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the evolving needs within the school
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Implement and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators and support staff Use assessment tools to track student progress and modify instruction as required Participate in IEP meetings and keep thorough documentation for student files Foster positive, productive relationships with students, families, and educational teams Provide classroom management and behavioral support consistent with best practices
