We are seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated CDA-Credentialed Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our teachers create safe, nurturing, and engaging classrooms where toddlers are encouraged to explore, communicate, build independence, and develop important social-emotional skills. This is an early childhood teaching position in a licensed childcare center for an educator who understands toddler development and enjoys helping young children learn through play, routines, relationships, and meaningful experiences. What You'll Do Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging toddler classroom Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences Support children's language, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development Encourage independence through age-appropriate daily routines and self-help skills Support children with toileting and potty-training routines as developmentally appropriate Facilitate learning through play, music, movement, art, sensory activities, books, and classroom learning centers Promote positive behavior and help children develop age-appropriate emotional regulation and social skills Complete required developmental observations and assessments Observe and document children's developmental progress Maintain accurate classroom and child records Communicate professionally with families regarding their child's day, development, and needs Maintain a clean, organized, and licensing-compliant classroom Follow all health, safety, sanitation, supervision, and licensing requirements Work collaboratively with co-teachers, administration, and families Participate in required training and ongoing professional development What We're Looking For Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential required High school diploma or GED required Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center preferred Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices Strong classroom management skills CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 pounds A genuine passion for early childhood education Associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus.
