Qualifications:

Current Alabama Special Education Teacher (AL SPED) certification Experience teaching or supporting elementary-aged students, particularly in 3rd and 4th grades, preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Creative problem-solver who values individualized instruction

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet IEP goals and foster student achievement Monitor progress, assess needs, and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and students Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment Organize, document, and support academic and behavioral programs Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
